Since 2018, every year on the 5th of June, RAIGB celebrates Environmental Day activities in collaboration with the Environmental Protection Agency of Gilgit Baltistan, Local Support Organizations (LSOs), District Administration, and schools. This partnership aims to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainable practices in the region. The activities organized by RAIGB, EPA, LSOs, and schools include tree plantation drives, clean-up campaigns, educational workshops, and awareness walks. Through their joint efforts, they hope to create a positive impact on the environment and inspire the community to take action towards a cleaner and greener Gilgit Baltistan.
