Hussain Nagri Chairman Hussain is a dedicated social entrepreneur and founder of RAI GB, an organization committed to promoting social and economic development in Gilgit-Baltistan. He has been a driving force behind RAI GB’s efforts to tackle poverty, lack of education, healthcare services, and environmental issues in the region. Hussain holds a Masters in Media Sciences from the University of Karachi and has worked with local newspapers and online outlets in Gilgit-Baltistan, highlighting key local issues, with a particular focus on environmental concerns. He has also gained valuable experience as a cameraman with a national television network. In addition to his social work, Husain has a keen interest in tourism and has established Hotel Xtasy Rakaposhi and a guest house in Nagar Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan, which provides employment opportunities  and contributes for the local community and contribute to the region’s economy. Husain’s dedication and leadership has been critical to the success of RAI GB, and he continues to work tirelessly towards the organization’s mission. He has served in different positions with various NGOs in Pakistan, including as the media coordinator for Young Reformers Gilgit Baltistan and as a member of the National Youth Assembly Pakistan GB chapter, where he served as the Minister of Information. Sarah Begum Vice Chairman Sahrah is a social worker from Masoot Nagar and one of the founders of RAI GB. She has been involved in various community development initiatives in Gilgit-Baltistan and has dedicated her life to making a positive impact in her community. Sarah’s passion for social work and community development led her to co-found RAI GB with the aim of promoting education, health, and livelihood opportunities for the people of the region. She is a dedicated and committed individual who has worked tirelessly to promote the organization’s objectives and ensure that its programs reach the most vulnerable communities. Sarah’s leadership and vision have been instrumental in the success of RAI GB. She is an inspiration to many in her community and beyond, and her work has made a significant impact on the lives of many people in Gilgit-Baltistan. Waseem Abbas  Secretary General Waseem Abbas is the Secretary General of RAI GB, and has been associated with the organization since 2016. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Urdu University Karachi. Before joining RAI GB, Waseem worked in various multinational companies. However, he eventually returned to his hometown of Nagar Valley in Gilgit-Baltistan and established the Dawn Public School. The school aims to provide quality education to the children of the area and has been successful in achieving its objectives under Waseem’s leadership. As the Secretary General of RAI GB, Waseem is responsible for overseeing the organization’s activities and ensuring that its objectives are met. He is a dedicated individual who is committed to making a positive impact in his community. Ahmed Ali Sahil Secretary Finance Ahmed Ali is the Secretary Finance of RAI GB and has been associated with the organization since 2016. He is a Chartered Accountant Finalist and currently works in Islamabad as an Account Officer in one of the top Chartered Accountancy firms. In his role as Secretary Finance, Ahmed is responsible for managing the finances of RAI GB and ensuring that the organization’s financial resources are utilized in an effective and efficient manner. He is a highly skilled professional who brings his expertise in finance to the table, making him an asset to the organization. Ahmed’s dedication and commitment to RAI GB has been instrumental in the organization’s success. His strong financial management skills have helped the organization to achieve its objectives and make a positive impact in the Gilgit-Baltistan community. Rehman Ali Joint Secretary Reman Ali is the Joint Secretary of RAI GB and has been associated with the organization since 2016. He completed his Bachelor’s degree from Punjab University and is currently running a tourism company called Mavric Tours in Islamabad. In his role as Joint Secretary, Reman works closely with the Secretary General and other members of the RAI GB team to develop and implement strategies to achieve the organization’s goals. He brings his experience in tourism and business to the table, making him a valuable asset to the team. Reman’s passion for tourism and his desire to promote the beauty of Gilgit-Baltistan has been instrumental in the organization’s efforts to promote tourism in the region. He is dedicated to making a positive impact in his community and is committed to supporting RAI GB’s mission and objectives.
